A Long Overdue Update!

3/31/2017

Hello all,

yes, I know... it's been far too long without a blog update. Alas, here we go! The D.C. portion of my trip went very well. I accomplished most everything that I wanted to do even when some unforeseen variations occurred. I was particularly happy with all of my food excursions, particularly piqued by my experience at the Kinship Restaurant, which I will be reviewing later on. I would have liked to go to a few more museums, but the time got away from me a little bit. A few museums I had been to with school such as the Holocaust Museum and the Newseum, but I decided to go to both of those again which was a fantastic decision. I also had the opportunity to go to the Air and Space Museum, Hirshorn, and the U.S. Botanic Center which I know my Grandma Ruth would really enjoy.

Currently my travels have taken me to Myrtle Beach, SC to visit with my aunt, uncle, and cousins. Regrettably, my cousins are still in school, and their break does not start for a while. The house is empty during the day, yearning for the giggles and little footsteps of the two younger Davis's, but the silence is abruptly shattered as soon as soon as they walk through the door.

It's raining right now which is unfortunate because it puts a bit of a damper on some of our plans. I am excited however for the dinner this evening, filet mignon with my blender bearnaise.

Spring Break has gone too quickly, I can't believe that there are only two days left. My mom and I are flying back into Cleveland tomorrow afternoon. On Sunday I am going off-roading with a friend, and on Monday it's back to school. I am excited becaue it is currently the height of ramp season back in Cleveland. Harvesting those is always a good time.

Anyways, I should hopefully (fingers crossed) get some more posts up here ASAP. Stay tuned!

Best, Francis

P.S: I will attach pictures from my trip in a seperate post.
